I would like to show you this venezuelan salad called: Guasacaca (Wah-Sah-KaKa). Guasacaca is usually served over "parillas" (BBQ's), Arepas or Empanadas. Unlike Guacamole, everything is hand chopped, thicker and chunky.
If you like to eat salads and you love trying new things, you can do this at home. Is very easy and fast. I you are an avocado lover, this is for you!
Ingredients
2 avocados, peeled and seeded.
1 medium onion.
1 medium tomatoe.
3/4 cup of cilantro, hand-chopped.
2 teaspoons of fresh lemon juice.
1 teaspoon of virgin olive oil. ( avocado is already oily)
Salt and pepper.
Directions
1- Chop by hand all the vegetables.
2- Mix everything in a bowl.
3-Add salt and pepper to taste.
You can add a little bit of chia and flax seeds ( if you are obsessed like me )
My first post .. yay!
